Best: Michelle Williams finally wins
Many weren't aware in the audience, but Michelle Williams' nomination for best lead actress in "My Week with Marilyn" was her sixth nod and she'd never won previously. Williams seemed genuinely touched by the honor noting in her speech that everyone in the room was a "misfit" like she was and that the first time she was there she "wore my own clothes. Cut my own hair. Unlike other venues. That was OK. It was possibly even preferred." And this afternoon? She was wearing her own clothes again and was thrilled to be in the company of such accepting "misfits."
