Can Seth Rogen save a show with little surprises among the winners?
Best: Seth Rogen
Even Seth Rogen will admit his opening monologue started off a bit slow, but when he got in a rhythm he was ready for a celebrity roast (like, a good one). From ripping on "The Artist" ("The Artist" is winning [expletive] everything. I thought we created the foreign language category to stop this shit from happening." ) or the Grammys ("At the Grammys, you can literally beat the [expletive] out of a nominee and be asked to perform twice") or the Oscars picking Brett Ratner as a producer ("Without awards season we wouldn't know how much of a horrible bigot Brett Ratner is") to a Michael Fassbender riff that has to be heard to believed, Rogen was on fire. Unfortunately, once he ended the monologue the laughs came to a grinding halt.
