Sir Paul's night got off to a rough start with a snoozefest of a performance of "My Valentine" with Joe Walsh and Diana Krall. That didn't go so well. But talk about redemption! McCartney closes the show with a fantastic version of the end, aided in no small part by appearances by a few of his friends. Which friends? Oh, how about Walsh, Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen. Yeah, that's a powerful guitar-playing lineup to end a lengthy telecast.
