Best and Worst of the 2012 Grammy Awards: Jennifer Hudson, Adele, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown
Also: Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, The Beach Boys
A memorable night
After the stunning news of Whitney Houston's passing on Saturday, it was expected that the 54th Grammy Awards would be one long memorial to the legendary singing icon. And while there were some stirring moments eulogizing the Grammy icon, Houston's passing quickly became an afterthought to Adele's dominating night, some great performances and some not-so great performances. In fact, at this point, if you're Nicki Minaj or Chris Brown you're probably wishing your number had been cut for a longer Houston tribute. With that in mind, here are the best and worst moments of what will no doubt become one of the most remembered Grammys ever.

It's hard to take any new country bands seriously when they all seem to look and dress uber-metro...Willie, Waylon, Merle and Johnny never feathered their hair or listened to professional stylists...

February 16, 2012 at 12:21PM EST Reply to Commentfor me bruno's performance was the best it's amazing how he sounded really good considering the fact he was dancing the whole performance,I didn't like jennifer performance yes she might have a stong voice but it doesn't do a thing for me I wish they would have chosen someone eles with a softer voice
Samantha Taylor Swift looked like she was auditioning for the remake of Little House on the prairie.
February 17, 2012 at 3:21AM ESTgee_gee You can't have someone to do a tribute for Whitney Houston "with a softer voice". That's just ridiculous especially with one of her greatest hits. If she had sang the song how Folly Parton originally sang it no one would know about it.

February 25, 2012 at 11:52PM EST Reply to CommentI'm sorry - Taylor Swift was once again clad in the emperor's new - I'm sorry - this time, tattered - clothes. That chick can't sing and is an interesting as a white girl who sings through her nose off-key. Oops- my bad - she IS a white girl who sings through her nose off-key. So I guess she's fine, then.
