It's nice to see a documentary that clips along to the same vibrant rhythms and tones as its subject. ATCQ in itself has a great story and great soundtrack to go with it, but if the group's members hadn't have been as open and mindfully edited for this feature, it could've played out in the key of fail. But Michael Rapaport kept his camera steady on his subjects and put all the right historical pieces together to make for an interesting story, for fans and non-fans alike. Rapaport may only be known for his acting at the moment, but with this directorial debut, he's taken the wheel on his own destiny and uncovered a true new calling.
