Did anyone get a "Best" with this one?
Worst: Completely unbelievable premise
One of the wonders of 20th Century Fox's marketing campaign is the trailers and TV spots for "Cops" made you think the scenario of two random guys pretending to be police officers in modern day Los Angeles was believable. Unfortunately, "Cops" can't actually sell that premise in context. No one would believe real officers would do half the things they do the first night they discover people think they are cops. And the more the film goes on the gaps of complete logic and suspension of disbelief continue to fade away. Listen, we get it. It's a dumb comedy. That doesn't mean it can't make some sort of sense, however.
