Worst: Poor room allocation for TV panels
Con organizers seemed to be getting the message about TV's popularity at the Con by upgrading series like "Dexter," "Breaking Bad" and "Community" to Hall H. But they did a very poor job elsewhere. They wildly underestimated the appeal of "Orphan Black" (placed in a room with 500 seats) and "Hannibal" (1000 seats), and had to shut down the lines for both several hours in advance, and put "How I Met Your Mother" in a satellite ballroom at the nearby Hilton Bayfront (2000 seats) when the line outside suggested they could have easily doubled that. (And the ballroom emptied out almost completely after "HIMYM" was done, despite being followed by "The Vampire Diaries" spin-off "The Originals.") Meanwhile, other series like "Nikita" and "The Tomorrow People" played to rooms with large swaths of empty seats.
