Worst: Seth MacFarlane's minimal movie-star charisma
Seth MacFarlane may have co-headlined a hit with "Ted," but voicing a teddy bear and selling a movie on your own mug are very different challenges -- and MacFarlane simply isn't up to the latter. He can deliver a quip with dry ease, but as a live screen presence, he's not expressive or magnetic enough to hold our attention for two hours, while surrounding himself with movie stars of Charlize Theron's and Liam Neeson's caliber only highlights his comparative lack of dynamism.
