Worst: One Direction's performance
We loved how this British boy band reacted with each of their wins, and they're a genuinely grateful crew. But even Justin Bieber springs for some extra dancers and a backdrop during his most-watched events. One Direction just took some screaming fans from the crowd and corralled them onto the stage (as if we didn't know who their audience was). It could have been time and space for them to express, dance and move; instead, it was a plain vanilla goodwill mission with a hydraulic stage at the end. No personality.
