The 'American Idol' Season 11 Top 13
Last Thursday (March 1) night, following the two-hour "American Idol" results show, FOX paraded its newly minted Top 13 up and down a blue carpet on the rooftop of Los Angeles' Grove shopping complex.
HitFix was perched with a trio of other friendly reporters at the end of that blue carpet, waiting patiently for the various belters, crooners, wailers and caterwaulers to make their way past the various TV crews and whatnot.
After three hours on the blue carpet, we'd spoken to 11 of the 13 Finalists, only one of whom gave us the immortal quote, "I'd rather drink juice than do anything else, besides worship the Lord."
You'll have to click through to find out which singer it was. And to find out how tall Jermaine Jones is. And a few other nuggets of gold. [These are highlights from those brief conversations. Many of the questions were mine, but certainly not all.]
The Top 13 will perform on Wednesday, March 7, with the first singer (singers?) going home on Thursday.

March 7, 2012 at 2:24PM EST Reply to CommentToo bad has become garbage. I stopped watching around Season 5 and decided to check in again. Out of these 13, I'd only buy 2 or 3 singers albums. Phil Phillips? Is America serious? The guy is Dave Matthews clone with zero vocal range. Heejun's voice is average at best. If Skylar Laine doesn't win, I'm checking out of this show for good.
