Lady GaGa, “The Fame†(Cherry Tree/Interscope)
Because of Grammy regulations, many folks are going to feel that Lady GaGa was horribly robbed by not being eligible for best new artist. Will they feel sorry enough for her, plus feel like “The Fame” stands so much on its own merit that it deserves an album of the year nod? I say yes. She and Beyonce will split the votes here.
