The Snowlets - 1998 Winter Games
These guys started out as a good idea. Sukki, Nokki, Lekki, and Tsukki each represented one of the major islands of Japan — the home of the 1998 Olympic Games. When the first syllable of each of their names were combined phonetically, they spelled out 'Snowlets' in Japanese. All good on paper right? But in practice these large-eyed mascots with their creepy smiles and tiny arms look more like they combine to phonetically create anime nightmare fuel. GET BACK!
