Let them speak
Listen, this isn't just an Oscars problem, it's an overall awards show problem. The Grammys, the Globes, the Emmys -- they're all guilty of playing off too many winners too quickly. Having watched most of the awards show acceptance speeches this season it's clear there are two expected winners who have really been holding back their "best" stuff for if and when they win the big prize, J.K. Simmons and Julianne Moore. Considering Moore's category will likely be during the tail end of the show, we'd suggest you work some time into the schedule to let this long overdue winner finally have her moment. And yes, if Michael Keaton wins, he'll be this year's Matthew McConaughey, but in the best way possible, so you might want to build in an extra couple for him as well.
