Skyler will become The One Who Knocks
In a nutshell: Skyler will become addicted to power and take over Walt's empire after Walt dies. We know this because she has shown herself to be capable of "breaking bad" a number of times already - i.e. buying the car wash to launder Walt's drug money, scaring off Lydia by being all alpha-bitchy, standing firm after Hank and Marie discover Walt's secret, etc. So the next logical step is obviously Skyler becoming a murderous drug kingpin (queenpin?) [via ("Theory 2")]
Why it's ridiculous: First off: what's with all the hatred for Skyler? Walt is a freaking monster who has literally covered up the murder of a child and committed at least a dozen other despicable acts, but he gets a pass and Skyler is an annoying bitch who deserves to die. Does that about sum it up? All of which brings me to my rebuttal of the above-mentioned theory: Skyler is incapable of "becoming Heisenberg" for the simple fact that she does not have it in her. Yes, Ms. White has morally compromised herself a hundred times over, but unlike Walt - whose ruthless desire for power stems from a long, painful history of emasculation - Skyler isn't guided by the need to prove herself. Also, Walt is going to kill Skyler, obviously, so HOW WILL SHE TAKE OVER WHEN SHE IS DEAD?
