The finale left a lot of loose plot threads.

#1: What is going on with the Wolves?
When the group reached Noah’s home last season, they were met with a bunch of arms and legs strewn about and graffiti warning about “Wolves not far.” Later in the episode, Rick plows into a truck that opens up like the world’s worst piñata to reveal a shower of zombie torsos. Each one is emblazoned with a ‘W’ in its forehead. But what with Tyreese dying and all, not much was made of it.
Once in Alexandria, more zombies with ‘W’ brands began to appear, culminating with Daryl and Aaron discovering a trap laid by the Wolves. In their escape, Aaron dropped his bag which basically had a big red sign on it that said “EASY PICKINGS. MURDER AT YOUR CONVENIENCE.”
Only Morgan has limited first-hand knowledge of this mysterious group. And the trailers from the new season imply a horde is coming. I’d bet dollars to donuts those zombies are all property of the Wolves. But what do they want? Elaborate traps such as the canned food trucks implies there is some kind of end game, but when the bait is dismembered undead torsos you know this isn’t the sanest group of people. Is it a cult? Sadists? Just people who have snapped under the pressure and gone feral? And more importantly, how long will it take them to find Alexandria in the hopes of turning it into a repeat of Noah’s gated community?
