Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television
Matt Bomer, "The Normal Heart"
Alan Cumming, "The Good Wife"
Colin Hanks, "Fargo"
Bill Murray, "Olive Kitteridge"
Jon Voight, "Ray Donovan"
Prediction: Matthew Bomer, "The Normal Heart"
Quick Take: It's odd that Jon Voight won here last year and yet nobody's going to predict a repeat. Instead, it comes down to the movie star glow of Bill Murray and Matthew Bomer's splendid performance in "Normal Heart." Since Bomer was a surprising loser on Emmy night, I think he'll get his moment of recognition here. He'll look great in the tux on the Beverly Hilton stage and that's a big HFPA prerequisite.
