Will 'Star Wars,' 'The Avengers' and 'Community' make the trip to San Diego?
What: A Farewell to "Community" Panel or just Dan Harmon
Why We Want It: These days, it's hard to think of any TV show that couldn't, through some semantic twist, justify its presence at Comic-Con, but "Community" was one of the first shows to prove how far and how successfully the genre boundaries could be stretched while still filling a San Diego ballroom. I guess we're still pretending that somebody -- Hulu, Netflix, Animal Planet -- might resurrect "Community" for a sixth season, but with each passing day the chances grow more remote. But wouldn't it be nice to let the Greendale Gang bask in the Comic-Con love one last time? The sad reality: As a rule, Comic-Con panels are mounted by production studios and, at least on the surface, there's no reason for Sony to attempt to throw together a "Community" panel, unless they think it might push a potential Season 6 bidder over the edge somehow. Otherwise, it's an expense with no benefit. However, it seems likely that "Rick & Morty" will be there, so that means Dan Harmon will be there and once you have Dan Harmon there, the possibility of an announcement or a mini-reunion -- Or, I suppose, the chance of a conclusive "'Community' is dead, guys, sorry" announcement -- is just too juicy not to hope for.
Chances It Will Happen: The "Community" farewell? 10 percent? Maybe? A Dan Harmon-centric panel for "Rick and Morty"? Let's say 90 percent.
