Will 'Star Wars,' 'The Avengers' and 'Community' make the trip to San Diego?
What: A *good* "True Blood" Farewell Panel
Why We Want It: No. Not just a "True Blood" panel. That's a given. But come on, HBO. What'd you say we put a little effort into this one? Last year's "Dexter" sendoff panel, which featured the return of several departed actors and creative types, was actually a really good model for how to do this kind of thing right. Let's bring back some departed actors -- Michelle Forbes? Denis O'Hare? -- and make sure that Alan Ball is there and, for the love of Pete, get a different moderator. EW's Tim Stack was fine his first time (and you might say he was fine his second time and maybe his third time and possibly his fourth time), but the same questions and the same giggly approach to the show will yield the exact same panel as always. It would be interesting to actually have some introspection on what went right and maybe what went wrong in the show's wildly successful run, which will be coming to an end this summer. "Dexter" managed to pull off a good final panel even in the midst of a bad final season. Maybe "True Blood" will pull off something similar.
Chances It Will Happen: A "True Blood" panel? 100 percent. A good one? 5 percent.
