'The Last Boy Scout'
Joe Hallenbeck is one of my favorite Bruce Willis characters, and as with "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," I would happily watch as many mysteries as Shane Black would want to write for Hallenbeck solve. As long as they are profane, loud, and wildly violent, I'm in. Don't make the mistake of thinking as this one as a buddy film, though. You could easily drop the Damon Wayans character. He was just the client in the first film, and Hallenbeck is the draw, so he's the franchise.
