The 25 Most Anticipated Albums Of 2012: Madonna, Usher, Green Day
What sets are you most excited about? Mumford & Sons, Justin Bieber, U2, Jay-Z...
Hip-hop associated: Jay-Z, G.O.O.D. Music compilation and Frank Ocean
After a block-busting tour together in support of "Watch the Throne," Jay-Z and Kanye West are going to be working on other projects in 2012 -- and maybe another one, together. Q-Tip claimed last year that work was underway for Hov's "Blueprint 3" follow-up, though he may have his hands full with his first kid with superstar wife Beyonce in the new year.
West's G.O.O.D. label will have a good new compilation in Spring of 2012, if the "Dark, Twisted" album-maker's Twitter is to be believed. Big Sean recently revealed that he, Yeezy and much of the G.O.O.D. roster would have cuts on the record.
"Kid Cudi, CyHi, John Legend, Common, Pusha T, everybody on G.O.O.D., Mr Hudson: We're all working on a new project; it's almost done. We're going to London to finish it up and do the last part of it and working on my album at the same time with 'Ye and everybody," he told MTV.
Def Jam signee and Odd Future member Frank Ocean, who is closely associated with Jay-Z, will have his major label debut in 2012, as well, after a number of mixtape drops and guest spots on "Watch the Throne."
