Felicity Jones - "The Invisible Woman"
Pros: Jones has been on the Next Big Thing bench for a few years now – Remember that Best Actress campaign for “Like Crazy” that never quite caught fire? – and her subtle, emotionally acute performance as the teenage mistress of Charles Dickens will win her further admirers. She also has a screen time advantage over her more well-known co-star/director. (She IS the invisible woman, after all.)
Cons: It's unlikely this quiet film will capture enough attention to make much difference.
