Who will win: "Homeland"
Upset special: "The Newsroom"
Lowdown: Once Golden Globes voters snubbed "Mad Men," "Homeland" became a prohibitive favorite to repeat here. "Breaking Bad" has never had enough support from Globes voters and "Boardwalk Empire" is past its sell-by date as far as winning here is concerned. A "Downton Abbey" win wouldn't be shocking, but it's easier to imagine either a repeat that ignores some sense that "Homeland" declined in quality this year, or an upset by "The Newsroom" that would basically spiral the Globes from partial irrelevance to total irrelevance.
