What about Sam Rockwell in Seven Psychopaths? Though Walken was phenomenal, Rockwell was the best part of that film hands down. Like stated, the lack of B.O. success could stop the film from getting any noms, but if one ensemble is gonna nab it, it deserves to be Rockwell. Super surprised he's not listed here.
