Pro: Fox Searchlight was smart to shuffle Helen Hunt from lead to supporting for "The Sessions," no doubt recognizing a category ripe for the taking. And that co-lead perspective goes a long way in the
supporting ranks. But regarding the performance itself, it's a brave one, bringing Hunt back into the awards fold after a 15-year absence. And of course, the last time she was here, she won an Oscar.

Con: Does the accent bother some of Hunt's fellow actors? Is the nudity perceived as gratuitous despite being a film very much about sensuality? And does said sensuality make some voters a bit uncomfortable? I suppose it's possible.
