2013 Best Actress Oscar Contenders

From Amy Adams to Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Maggie Smith - 'Quartet'

Pro: First of all, she's freakin' living legend Dame Maggie Smith. Second, the former two-time Oscar winner is everyone's cup of tea again thanks to her popular role on "Downton Abbey." She's also getting a lot of attention for her supporting role in "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel."

Con: Smith is pretty much sleepwalking through Dustin Hoffman's "Quartet" and letting co-star Pauline Collins steal the show (Collins will be a best supporting actress player). Moreover, most of the Maggie attention will be squarely focused on her supporting role in "Best Exotic" which she has an excellent chance at winning.?
