Winner: Adele
The British singer swept the Grammys in February, taking home six trophies including album of the year. More than 16 months after its release, “21” remains in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and is closing in on 10 million copies sold in the U.S.: that will make it the first album to cross that threshold since Usher’s “Confessions” in 2004. Adele’s next production? She’s expecting a baby later this year.
