How is Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” not in here? Having said that, Drake’s “Take Care” featuring Rihanna is the most visually stunning clip here full of stark photography, but Katy Perry’s “Wide Awake” gets the sympathy vote with a song that addresses the bust up of her marriage in an imaginative clip, full of compelling and disturbing images as she tries to reclaim herself and let’s go of fairy tale endings. The other videos are all strong, and we’re especially fond of the international flair of M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls,”  but aren’t contenders against these two.
