Should Win: Without "Breaking Bad" and "Friday Night Lights," the Globes list is a little screwy. Still, "Homeland" and "Game of Thrones" both had terrific first seasons and would be the most deserving winner. Give "Game of Thrones" a slim advantage for preference.

Will Win: Golden Globe voters love shiny, new things, but that could mean possible wins for any of four nominated shows. The "American Horror Story" nomination is just wacky enough to open a door for win, but bet on "Homeland" and its finger-on-the-pulse storytelling instead.
