Winner: 'American Horror Story' and other movie/miniseries shenanigans
Because "American Horror Story" has a different storyline each season, it gets to count as a miniseries, even if the creative team and much of the cast is remaining consistent. Because "Luther" aired four hours, it gets to count as a movie or miniseries. Because "Sherlock" aired only six hours, it gets to count as a movie or miniseries. Actually, I have no issues with "Sherlock," since it only submitted the "Scandal in Belgravia" episode, though even though sounds sketchy if you think that it's OK to submit a single episode of a TV series as a movie. Surely HBO could have submitted "Game of Thrones: Blackwater" as a TV movie. In any case, good for everybody finding the loopholes they wanted to exploit.
