Pro: Olsen has received raves for her role in this Sundance indie since January and found more notices upon the film's release in late October.  Her harrowing turn as a young woman trying to escape the psychological as well as physical clutches of a pseudo cult announced to the entire industry she'll be a force to be reckoned with for some time.  Olsen may also find herself the benefactor of a number of major critics' groups awards.

Con: Will the film play enough to the Academy to get her in the five?  A SAG nod as well as some key critics' awards will seal the deal, but it won't be easy.
