Is it Clooney versus the field?
Who will join Oscar's boys club?
Looking back at the past decade, there hasn't been many surprises in the race to win the best actor Academy Award. George Clooney has sprinted out to the lead with massive acclaim for his role in Alexander Payne's "The Descendants," but does he have any real competition in the wings?
Let's review this year's batch of contenders and find out.
