Lowdown: The word is the HFPA love "The Fighter," but does that mean Paramount's other hopeful "True Grit" doesn't make the cut? It's hard to believe both can make the field. Or, that "Rabbit Hole" or "Another Year" get shafted too? No matter what the case, a number of studios and filmmakers are going to be very disappointed when they don't make the cut in one of the most competitive dramatic globe races in years.
