Will Colin be crowned 'King' or are Franco's 'Days' of waiting over?
Aaron Eckhart, "Rabbit Hole"
Pro: Pretty much the best work of Eckhart's career and will be a "surprise" contender on the awards season scene. Could also be an unexpected critic's winner from a major group or two.
Con: As a father trying to deal with the loss of his child and how it's shattered his marriage, Eckhart delivers a subtle turn similar to Patrick Wilson's work in "Little Children." However, "Children's" lack of awards heat is something Lionsgate wants to avoid at all costs. If the mini-Lion can't get the buzz going in limited release for the James Cameron Mitchell drama (meaning it needs to do stellar per theater averages), he won't stand a chance making the final five.
