Will Colin be crowned 'King' or are Franco's 'Days' of waiting over?
Colin Firth, "The King's Speech"
Pro: Considered the runner up to Bridge's win last year for his astonishing work in "A Single Man," Firth has provided another great performance as a King who overcame his speech impediment to help lead a nation. Firth takes what could have been a distracting and grating disability to audiences and generates tremendous sympathy for a wealthy man of privilege (not an easy task).
Con: He's in. The question is there a surprise contender out there who can dethrone the expected coronation. At this point, we're not so sure.
