How did Jimmy Fallon, Conan O'Brien, Tina Fey and Mathew Weiner do in our Emmy run-down?
Loser: The Emmy Necrology
First off, what was up with that Jewel performance? Surely we weren't the only ones who thought it was just a bit awkward and somewhat on-the-nose. But really, what annoys us is that the Emmy organizers couldn't find space to at least acknowledge "NYPD Blue," "The Corner," "Kingpin," "The Wire" and "Treme" writer-producer David Mills. We don't want to get into a few of the people who got time instead, but maybe if we'd started the Necrology at the very beginning of Jewel's performance rather than a verse in, four or five more departed names could have been honored.
