How did Jimmy Fallon, Conan O'Brien, Tina Fey and Mathew Weiner do in our Emmy run-down?
Loser: Conan O'Brien
It could be said that Conan wasn't so much a loser here as NBC was a winner, spared the potentially wildly awkward spectacle of the deposed "Tonight Show" host taking the stage to celebrate a win for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series. Instead, the unbeatable "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" was triumphant once again. Given the number of things Conan could and couldn't have said (legally) had he won, we can only assume he had a speech prepared. Maybe that speech can be the opening monologue on Conan's TBS show. Heck, perhaps that speech can become the extended title for Conan's untitled TBS show.
