Pros: We all know Kidman can sing and dance, she's been nominated for doing it before in "Moulin Rouge."  If this role allows her to steal any light from her numerous co-stars, she's beloved enough by the Academy to slip in.

Cons: The part is rumored to have very little screen time in the picture.  If that's true it might be hard for her to really make a lasting impression with voters.  And, obviously, she's got a lot of competition from her own co-stars.
