Pros: McAvoy has been this close to a nomination twice before for "The Last King of Scotland" and "Atonement." Playing alongside Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer in the historical drama may allow him to finally break through.
Cons: "Station" is clearly Plummer's showcase and the film's campaign will be focused squarely on landing the legend his first Oscar nomination. McAvoy may just have to wait.
