Pros: It's different than anything else out there and will have a passionate fan base. Jonze was nominated for best director for "Being John Malkovich" and his follow up "Adaptation" was nominated for four statues garnering one win in the best supporting actor category for Chris Cooper. He appears in the cast along with some Academy favorites including former nominees Catherine Keener and winner Forest Whitaker.
Cons: The film may be too dark for even some adults and the studios headaches with Jonze during the long and expensive production aren't exactly a state secret.
