Kristen Stewart down for two 'Breaking Dawn' movies
Industry scuttlebutt has been raging on whether Summit Entertainment will divide the fourth "Twilight" novel, "Breaking Dawn," into two movies or one stand alone film. The studio has remained steadfast that no decision has been reached yet, but that hasn't stopped the cast from speaking out -- or should that be quizzed? -- about the possibilities.
Speaking to MTV News during the press day for "The Yellow Handkerchief," star Kristen Stewart contributed her opinion saying, "I am down. I wanna do it. The story absolutely warrants two films. But I think you could do it with one. It just depends."
Even though two films would mean a six month shoot of filming the pictures back to back, Stewart told the outlet, "It would be much more satisfying to do, because we wouldn't have to drop so much of the story. It wouldn't be like, 'Well, we didn't get to do this scene, this scene or this scene.' You'd get less of that — which would be good."
An announcement from Summit on how "Breaking Dawn" will proceed is expected sometime over the next few months.
