'Charlie's Angels' (2000)
Notable participants: Bill Murray, McG, Lucy Liu
What happened: From all accounts, comedy legend Bill Murray didn't respect first time feature film director McG. Nor did he appear to have a lot of respect for one of his co-stars, Lucy Liu. According to numerous reports, Murray got into an argument with Liu basically taking her down saying she wasn't professional and couldn't act. Liu was so enraged she punched Murray (numerous times it seems) and had to be separated from him. Nine years after the movie was released, Murray told The Times of London director McG should "die" and went on to say "He should be pierced with a lance, not head-butted." Clearly, not a ringing endorsement of the director's skills. We're hoping he was kidding, but time certainly hadn't changed his opinion on Liu. He told the UK paper, "Look, I will dismiss you completely if you are unprofessional and working with me…When our relationship is professional, and you’re not getting that done, forget it." It was no surprise that Murray wasn't asked back for "Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle."
