Coachella must-see: Gorillaz
Given that Gorillaz are a virtual band, concerts are a fairly rare occurrence for Damon Albarn’s creation. Word is that Gorillaz will have a full production with video animation so Noodle, 2D, Murdoc Niccals and Russel Hobbs. The live band also includes Mick Jones of the Clash. No word yet if acts like Bobby Womack, De La Soul and Snoop Dogg, all of whom appear on the band’s great new set, “Plastic Beach,” will make it to the desert.
Oh plus there's that whole "being joined by Mick Jones and Paul Simonon from the Clash" thing.
