House’s Sweet Tooth Suzy in season 4, episode 4
When the contestants were tasked with creating an original character with candy incorporated into the design, David “House” Greathouse lucked out with a model who could do some belly dancing to show off the mouth on his design’s stomach.
Glenn Hetrick’s take: “He thought of the idea that because it’s consuming candy, we’ll put a mouth in the belly — his voracious appetite can't get enough. And then he did the really twisty sort of Willy Wonka eyes and all the colors. Great color palette. This sort of grungy Marilyn Manson approach to the makeup is a really smart concept. And then the mouth belly prosthetic — I don't think he possibly had seen how well it was going to work. Since then, it’s worked so well that I've seen at least three or four if not more iterations of the now-infamous ‘Face Off’ mouth belly idea in subsequent seasons.”
