On "Boy Meets World": Played Mrs. Gallagher, who works at the adoption agency that Eric visits, on a season 6 episode called "Can I Help to Cheer You?"
Since then: Vardalos wrote and starred in the Oscar-nominated 2002 sleeper hit "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," and its less successful follow-up "My Life in Ruins" (pictured). She recently appeared on "Cougar Town" and "Grey's Anatomy."
