David Lynch almost directed "Return Of The Jedi"
Can you imagine a world in which David Lynch had the box-office clout of a massive "Star Wars" hit behind him? Would he have been able to convert that into greenlights for his dream films like "Ronnie Rocket" or "One Saliva Bubble"? Would he have hooked up with Dino De Laurentiis for "Blue Velvet," or would he have become a more mainstream director?
