Why you know her: "Strangers with Candy," several books and regular appearances on pretty much every talk show in town
Why she'd be great: She's been rotating through late night's couches for years, so she knows how to play this particular game better than any other newcomer. Sedaris (sister of writer David Sedaris) is a bubbly, upbeat personality who has charmed even the sometimes-prickly David Letterman and yet can play off of personalities as disparate as Conan O'Brian and Chelsea Handler. Plus, if her books "I Like You: Hospitality Under the Influenced" and "Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People!" are any indication, she'd have the best DIY segments ever.
