'Where the Wild Things Are' (2009)
Artist: Karen O and the Kids
Best Track: “All Is Love”
What makes the soundtrack so good: While the marriage may not seem an obvious one, Spike Jonze adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s children’s classic and Karen O’s delicate, sometimes feral vocals melded together perfectly, especially on Grammy-nominated, playful “All is Love.” O’s music brought a child-like wonder to the movie, especially during the Rumpus.
