Why they are on the hot seat: It's been a surprisingly tepid four years for Dawson. After a busy and successful 2010, things started to slow down for the "Seven Pounds" star the following year. Her last studio release was the mixed bag "Zookeeper" (really Kevin James' film, more on him later). She followed that up with the indie "10 Years" (barely released) and the Danny Boyle bomb, "Trance." Just last weekend she returned with "Gimme Shelter" which barely registered at the box office. Up next she has a role in the ensemble drama "Cesar Chavez" and the "we took way to long to do a sequel" "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." We're huge Dawson fans, but at this point she's counting on Atom Egoyan's thriller "The Captive" with Ryan Reynolds and Scott Speedman to turn things around. Color us concerned.
