Alicia Silverstone: The Prep Who Mattered
Alicia Silverstone embodied everything fabulous, cool, and ironically cool about the '90s. In "Clueless" she threw down complicated quips with the smiley savoir-faire of a valley queen, and she made the mall-centric realm of Beverly Hills intoxicating. Her turn in "Batman and Robin" as Batgirl is notable for its guileless fun. She was materialistic in her roles, yet soulfully relatable. It's a shocking and awesome combo that could've only existed in the time of "Clueless."
