When is the cast of 'Star Wars: Episode VII' going to be revealed?
Anyone remember when the last three "Star Wars" films were being made? It was the early days of the Internet, but George Lucas used the web to bring fans behind the scenes. For one film he released a new picture every week or so (of course, they were all green screen so there wasn't much to give away) and production design and art would be sneaked on StarWars.com. Anyone remember any of J.J. Abrams films the past six to eight years? Sort of secretive weren't they? While Abrams may be a creative fit for the next trilogy of "Star Wars" films many are wondering when and if he's going to reveal anything. The film is also expected to begin shooting in early 2014 and at this point none of the cast has been confirmed (although, at a minimum, cameos from Harrison Ford, Mark Hammill and Carrie Fisher are expected). Three major opportunities for reveals, Comic-Con, D23 and Star Wars Celebration, have come and gone without even a little tease of what's next. Will Abrams just start shooting and try to keep it all as quiet as possible? Will there be a formal announcement? Clearly, history makes it clear Abrams way is not the Disney or Lucasfilm way. How will it all play out? Curiouser and curiouser.
